This is patrol.. where the candle is always lit, always burning, never replaced. Burning at both ends means early mornings and late nights, chaos on the street and responsibility at home. We absorb the worst days of others, then walk through our front door and become everything our families need us to be. Overtime isn’t a choice, sleep is a luxury, and every move is watched, judged, and ridiculed by those far removed from the fight. We don’t burn for praise or approval. We burn because someone has to stand in the dark and still show up when the shift is over.
